Weddings are special, witnessing the union between two people, pledging their love and futures to each other. Weddings are family gatherings, the opportunity to meet up with a favourite cousin or aunt that with the busy hustle and bustle of life you don’t get to visit as often as you would like. It creates the opportunity to look your best and have a great evening out with family and friends. It gives family and friends the excuse they were looking for to hop on a plane back to South Africa and for a short time come back to familiar places and faces. These are just some of the reason I adore weddings.
Two years ago I had the privileged to meet up with the Kimmins family for the first time. It was for the wedding of Lenette and Jacques. I will never forget their day for a variety of reasons. So much have changed since I have seen these two sisters for the first time all those years ago.
Their ceremony was held in the NG Church in Rayton and their reception was held at the Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum. On our way from the ceremony to the reception venue we passed beautiful green pastures. We just had to stop and take some photos there before traveling further. I loved every second of their beautiful day, it was great meeting up with you once again!
Annelie and Pieter we wish you all the best for your feature together. Thank you for making us part of your special day!
